Ayurveda is a sister science to yoga and a traditional heal holistic healing system in India. It offers a simple to use tool that revitalizes the face and more… I didn’t believe until I saw it demonstrated in front of me. The tool is called a Kansa Wand. I bought one after the amazing demo and went to my mom’s house to try it on her right away. After 5 minutes, her cheeks lifted and plumped up and her forehead lines started to soften and disappear. I tried it later on myself and had a very similar effect.
How does it work?
The Kansa Wand is made of very high quality, pure copper, tin and zinc. This ancient blend of metals is known in Ayurveda as “healing metal”. This tool has been used for centuries to revitalize tired faces and provide a gentle lift and light back to the face. It also has the added benefit of relieving stressed shoulders and aching necks.
How to use it?
Before using the Kansa Wand, clean your face well. Then apply two pumps of a face oil like jojoba or my favorite SheaMoisture’s gentle Olive & Green Tea. Then, try the following with your wand.
- Zig-zags and small circles on the forehead.
- Gentle circle around the right eye in both directions and then around the cheek bone below the eye in the same way.
- Small circles in front o the right ear hole and then up and down the right jaw line.
- Circle around the mouth, then in the middle of the upper lip and middle of the chin.
Work on one side of the face at a time to compare the difference. Keep the pressure comfortable (not hard). 5-10 minutes on each side of the face is plenty to see results.

I purchased mine at the demo given by Ayurveda scholar Robert Sachs and my mom bought a few from his web site (www.diamondwayayurveda.com). If you live in NYC or another metropolitan area, you may be able to find a Kansa Wand at a local Tibetan store.

Why does the WAND turn your skin very at times?It lasted an he today before going away?

That happened to me, too! I asked the seller and he said it was because my skin had a lot of pollution on it… Thank goodness it goes away.
