Vegan & Gluten-Free Apple Crisp

As the cooler weather of fall approaches, our bodies begin to crave warming foods. I like to use this simple, delicious and warming apple crisp recipe for a light and healthy breakfast. You can also dress it up for dessert with a vegan coconut milk or almond milk ice cream.

This recipe serves one 🙂

Ingredients:
1 McIntosh Apple
1 tsp Pure Maple Syrup
1 tsp Earth Balance Soy Butter
1 tbsp Rolled Oats
1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Step 1: Cut off stem of McIntosh apple, slice in half and cut out center with seeds.
Step 2: Lightly coat inside of apple with Earth Balance.
Step 3: Drizzle maple syrup over the top.
Step 4: Cover the center with the oats.
Step 4; Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Step 5: Bake for 20 minutes with oven at 350 degrees.
Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
